25.6.2009:
Danish super middleweight Fawaz Nasir made a successful
return to the ring on Friday June 19, after almost a year out with
injuries, when he dominated Latvian Ruslans Pojonisevs in
Horsens, Denmark.
The fight, on the undercard of Kim Poulsen vs. Obote Ameme, was aired live on TV2 Sport in Denmark, and promoted by Henrik Risum who handles Nasir in cooperation with Fight Production.
Nasir came out strong and controlled the aggressive Pojonisevs
with his jab, and mixing it up nicely with hard body-shots and straight
right hands... |

22.6.2009:
Fight Production’s International Austrian & Serbian superwelterweight
champion Gojko ‚Gogi’ Knezevic got back to winning ways last
Saturday (June 20), but when all was said and done – and that was the
case in less than three minutes – it was all rather too easy.
The 29-year-old from Vienna was involved in a punishing battle last
April when trying to win the WBC Mediterranean title, which ended with a
spectacular 11th round knockout defeat, and now had his first
outing since when he appeared on a promotion in Belgrade, Serbia in a

|
12.6.2009:
Ring success makes people listen up – and it smoothes the boxer to the
point that he likes to give interviews again. With that in mind, Fight
Production’s heavyweight star Willi Fischer, fresh of another win
on the past weekend, happily sat down with German writer Frank
Bleydorn and answered his questions. Fischer, 37-6-1 (24 KO’s),
started a serious comeback in 2007 after teaming up with manager Olaf
Schroeder and – true to his past – battled through a multitude of
problems, namely cuts, injuries and cancellations. But he never lost
sight of his goal and now stands on the threshold of his first title
fight since five years. Read on what the fighter called ‘De Ox’ has to
say...

Putting the potentially career-threatning injury problems, which

Willi ‘De Ox’ Fischer dazzled the 1.400-strong audience last
night (June 6) at Neuwied’s Ice Hall, taking apart countryman Werner
Kreiskott in four one-sided rounds. The official result went down as
a TKO 5, when a dispirited Kreiskott elected to not come out for the
fifth round. With the win, Fischer raised his record to 37-6-1 (24 KO’s)
and in fact has not lost in almost five years now. The clash headlined a
nine-fight bill presented by Punchup Boxing, the company of semi-retired

June 19 in Horsens, Denmark. The fight will be promoted by Risum Boxing
in cooperation with Brian Mathiasen Boxing, and is headlined by Kim
Poulsen vs. Obote Ameme for the UBO Intercontinental lightweight title.
Pojonisevs is a European and two-time world kickboxing champion, and is
coming off a first-round knockout victory in his latest conventional
boxing bout. One of his three losses as a professional boxer was on an
injury, and one was against Swedish amateur standout Cliff Souka, so the
