16.11.2005: Fight Productions journeyman cruiserweight Marco Heinichen (8-11-2, 5 KO’s) will get more than his hands full on November 26, when he takes on WBU “world” champion Enzo Maccarinelli (21-1, 16 KO’s) in a ten-round non title fight at the Palazzo Dello Sport in Rome, Italy.

The fight will be on the undercard of the Johnny Nelson vs. Vincenzo Cantatore WBO world title fight, and promoted by local outfit Sports Promotions in cooperation with Frank Warren’s Sports Network.

While the 25-year-old Welshman has not lost in more than five years, and beat Heinichen’s then stablemate Jesper Kristiansen in a title-defence last year, the German southpaw is coming off a win and a draw in his last two fights, and is eagerly anticipating the challenge of entering the ring with one of the worlds most promising talents in the weight class.
