Nasir Sidelined Until Early 2006!

27.11.2005: Plans for a December-fight has been scratched for undefeated Danish middleweight Fawaz Nasir (9-0, 5 KOs), and he will now have to wait until early 2006 before he steps back into the ring. Nasir suffered a relatively serious cut in his last fight against Richard Remen, and it is this cut that needs proper time to heal, and while stitches have been taken out, the doctors advise was not to rush things.

Ironically, it was a cut in the forehead of Remen, which caused the October 14-fight in Struer, Denmark to be declared a No-Contest.

Fight Production and Risum Boxing is currently in negotiations for the next outing of Nasir, and it is expected that things will be settled by early next week. Meanwhile it is hoped that qualified sparring partners can be arranged for next month in trainer Brian Mathiasens gym in Viby, near Aarhus.
