DPBF Goes Mad - Boxing Goes On!
17.10.2005:
Although
none of the three Fight Production boxers on
Friday's promotion in Struer, Denmark lost, only
one, Dutch heavyweight Richel Hersisia,
now 26-1 (21), won. That is because undefeated
Danish middleweight Fawaz Nasir had to
make do with a frustrating No Decision and a
huge cut in his clash with Slovakian Richard
Remen, while German cruiserweight Marco
Heinichen drew with Krisztian Jaksi of
Hungary.
However,
the surroundings of the show proved almost more
noteworthy than the actual fights itself - what
with the Danish Professional Boxing Federation (DPBF)
trying madly up until the last minute to kill
Risum Boxing's Danish debut show, which was
supervised by the German BDB.
Fight
Production owner Olaf Schroeder, closely
involved in all matters because he acted as the
show's Technical Delegator, commented after some
stressful days:
"Now
once and for all, the whole boxing world knows
how corrupt and rotten Jess Andreasen (DPBF
president), Poul Gaardboe (employee of Team
Palle, who tried to prevent the show on behalf
of the DPBF with the Danish Justic ministry!),
Pertti Augustin (president of the Finnish
Federation, who illegally forbid Kai Kauramäki
to participate) and their paid propagandist
Per-Ake Persson are. They didn't leave a stone
unturned to kill Risum's show, but all they
achieved in the end is to make a laughing stock
out of themselves and prove how evil and jealous they
are".
"It's
a scandal they are not - yet! - brought to
justice; if they had any kind of self esteem,
they would hang their heads in shame and admit
to their illegal and character-less actions,
which in some cases certainly border on crimes.
But Henrik made it in a admireable effort and
when these people are long gone and forgotten,
Henrik will still be a force in boxing."
